March 20th marks World Storytelling Day, a celebration of the art of storytelling and the power of voice and perspective.
Storytelling is more than words—it's also a feeling. It’s about connecting, conveying purpose, and making meaningful impact. Today, we’re thrilled to have a conversation with Mindful & Good, a B Corp Certified design studio focused on building sustainable brands with purpose.
Their approach to brand identity is rooted in transparency, integrity, and a commitment to crafting designs that inspire positive change. No one understands purposeful, authentic storytelling like M&G.
In honor of World Storytelling Day, we interviewed M&G’s Founder & Creative Director, Rachel Martin, to share their thoughts on the role storytelling plays in the studio’s work, the essence of their B Corp certification, and how they help their clients craft meaningful narratives.
Read on to dive into their unique perspective on storytelling in design.

What’s one thing you wanted to do differently with how you told the story of M&G versus others in your space?
(RM):
We wanted to move beyond surface-level aesthetics and award-winning design to create work that truly solves problems. While many agencies prioritize making things look cool, we focus on crafting strategic, intentional design that not only looks beautiful but also communicates, connects, and drives meaningful change.

M&G is B Corp certified—how is that important to your approach to storytelling?
(RM):
Our B Corp certification reinforces our commitment to transparency, integrity, and human-centered storytelling. We strip away the fluff and focus on what truly matters—crafting honest narratives that build trust, inspire people to be more conscious, and create a lasting impact.

what do you wish women understood about the relationship between work and wellness?
(RM):
We go beyond the surface to uncover the true essence of a brand—its purpose, values, and vision. Through in-depth research, strategy, and design, we craft multi-layered brand stories that don’t just look good visually, but solve problems, inspire action, and create meaningful connections with their audience.
Mindful & Good’s work reflects a commitment to authenticity, purpose, and a genuine connection with audiences. In a world where surface-level design can often overshadow meaningful narratives, M&G focuses on creating designs that are not only visually compelling but also deeply impactful. With their B Corp certification and a dedication to transparency, M&G proves that storytelling can—and should—be a force for positive change.
